Tasteful Development Includes Restaurants
Empire Properties’ historic preservation interest in real estate development projects has led the company naturally into the restaurant arena, as the developer and managing partner of some of downtown Raleigh’s most popular eateries, including the fine dining of The Duck & Dumpling, as well as the more casual dining of The Pit, The Raleigh Times Bar, The Smoking Times and The Morning Times.
Located in historic buildings owned and redeveloped by Empire Properties, each establishment serves up its own specialties, starting with the Asian-fusion fare of The Duck & Dumpling in a contemporary urban atmosphere built out of a 1940s retail space. The restaurant has been recognized locally and nationally for their excellent culinary services.
For more casual dining, Empire Eats offers a fresh interpretation of “pub fare” at The Raleigh Times Bar, set in the 1908 to 1989 home of the city’s newspaper. A stop next door will get you a cup of joe and a breakfast pastry or delicious lunch at The Morning Times, located in one of Raleigh’s oldest retail buildings from the early 1900s. Or enjoy some the area’s best pork barbeque at The Pit, set in a posh, yet comfortably redesigned 1936 warehouse and serving up a seasonal menu of contemporary Southern cuisine.
Learn more about what Empire Eats has to offer your appetite, and experience good food complemented by a unique atmosphere, no matter which establishment you visit.
