She has a bachelor of science degree in Accounting/Management Information Systems from Winston-Salem State University and an MBA from Strayer University. She brings more than 19 years of experience in the accounting field to the job, having worked as a staff accountant in a variety of industries, including construction, residential real estate brokerage and management, pharmaceutical and produce.
