As Director of Culinary Operations, Robert manages the back-of-house training and operations for Empire Eats.
Robert joined Empire in 2016 as the General Manager of The Pit Authentic Barbecue. Before joining the company, he held previous positions as General Manager at McCormick and Schmick's, The Cheesecake Factory as well as Area Director for Houlihan's/J Gilberts North Carolina locations. Robert is a veteran of the hospitality industry with a career spanning more than 30 years in North Carolina, Illinois, Indiana, and New York. In his free time, he enjoys spending time at Lake Gaston, cooking for friends and family, and working outdoors.
